2026 Summer Liver Academy Meeting (SLAM) Trainee Scholar Award Application

Nomination Deadline: Tuesday, March 31, 2026 • 11:59 PM (ET)
Trainee Scholar Awards recognizes excellence in research for ASIP Trainee/Fellow members (Undergraduate Student, Pre-Doctoral Trainee or Post-Doctoral Fellow). The awardee is selected based upon the scientific merit of their submitted abstract.

The award is funded by the ASIP Trainee Scholar Award Fund and includes complementary meeting registration, $500 award stipend, and a certificate.

Eligibility Requirements and Required Supporting Documentation:

1. Be an ASIP Trainee member (Undergraduate Students, Pre- and Post-doctoral Trainees) in good standing at the time of application submission and through the dates of the meeting.

2. Abstract submission to the 2026 Summer Liver Academy Meeting (SLAM).

3. The award applicant MUST be the first author on the abstract.

4. Register for the meeting by the established deadline.

5. A current copy of your Curriculum Vitae (CV) or resume.

6. A copy of your submitted abstract.

7. Attendance during the full meeting is mandatory. The Trainee Scholar Award will be rescinded if the awardee is not present.

Failure to submit these required documents will result in disqualification of your application.
