  • Finding Your Best Fit College
    Friday 2/13 - 10:00am-11:30am (RESCHEDULED FROM 1/16)

    Are you feeling overwhelmed with college choices?  This workshop provides a helpful guide to identifying which colleges are the best academic, social and financial match for you.  By learning how to research and compare college features like: program offerings, degree types, costs, location, size, and support systems you can narrow down a strong list of colleges where you're likely to thrive and succeed.

  • Which Major is a Fit for My Career?
    Monday 2/23 10-11:30am (RESCHEDULED FROM 1/19)

    Explore how college majors connect to different careers, how and when to choose or change your major, and where to find reliable tools for researching programs, degrees, and career paths.  This session will help you understand which majors align with your goals and how to navigate your options confidently.

  • College Transitions: Next Steps After Admission 
    Monday 3/30 - 10:00am - 11:30am

    You've selected your college, been admitted and paid your deposit - now what's next? This workshop will cover all of the important tasks you'll need to complete before the first day of class, such as using your student portal, attending orientation, registering for classes,  preparing for life on campus, and meeting Seidler Foundation scholarship requirements.

  • Taking Care of Yourself in College
    Thursday 4/30 12:00 - 1:30pm

    Emotional/mental health is one of the most cited reasons for college students deciding to withdraw from school before completing their degree.  This workshop will share practical strategies for managing stress, staying balanced, and taking care of your physical and mental well being while in college.  We'll identify common college stressors, healthy routines and how to find and use campus & community support systems.
