Shamala Hamala is a small creative studio, shop, and workspace.

Beginning in early 2026, we’ll be hiring 2–3 part-time employees for steady, ongoing hours. The work is calm, detail-oriented, and rooted in art, books, and thoughtful customer interaction.

If you’re looking for consistent work in a creative environment — not a traditional retail job — we’d love to hear from you.

Hours

Part-time, steady weekly hours beginning early 2026

Right now Shamala Hamala is open Thursday - Sunday 11am- 7pm with special events on Saturday nights 7pm-9pm

Pay

$18–$22/hour
Final rate based on experience and role

Work Includes

Shop work and customer interaction

Packing and shipping online orders

Inventory, organization, and studio upkeep

Occasional setup for installations or events

Environment

A calm, creative, detail-oriented space

Not fast-paced retail, and not a loud environment
