United Way of Hunterdon County Scholarship Application Form 2026

To be considered for the United Way of Hunterdon County Scholarship you must meet all of the criteria listed below. Please check all before proceeding.

● Are you a Hunterdon County resident?

● Is your income at or below the ALICE household threshold?

● Do you have your HS Diploma/GED or an equivalent?

● Are you currently enrolled in, have you applied or planning to apply to a certificate/training program, college or other educational program for classes that begin within the next 12 months?

Please note that this form is BEST completed on a laptop/chromebook or PC, however it can be completed on a mobile device/phone/tablet. You do have the option to start the application and "save" to return/complete it, however once you have submitted the application, no modifications can be made.

Letter of recommendation. All applications must include a letter of recommendation. The recommendation should be from a teacher, mentor, employer or a community leader. It should NOT be from a family member or friend. A strong recommendation letter includes an introduction explaining the relationship to the applicant, specific examples and anecdotes showcasing the applicant's skills, an evaluation of their strengths and potential and contact details of the recommender.
