  • Arts & Innovations Registration - Trimester, Monthly, and Drop In

    Enrollment is open to any and all SOCHH AND NON-SOCHH students. Priority registration will be given to students enrolled in the CORE program. Unless specifically noted on this form, all grades have available space. We do not hold spots and ALL PAYMENTS ARE NON REFUNDABLE. Please do not submit form if you are not sure of commitments yet as we cannot provide refunds after payment is submitted.
  • Students will be immersed in a weekly theme and will travel through “innovation stations” with hands on learning projects, art instruction, learning lab, S.T.E.A.M. projects, “curiosity adventures,” and more. The overriding goals of this program are to generalize what is learned in the classroom to the “real world” through hands-on, meaningful experiences; to guide students as they develop deep content knowledge through the Four C’s (critical thinking, collaboration, creativity, and communication); to foster a “growth mindset” where students discover that learning how to do something is just as important as the end result.

    Monday Programs: 

    Arts and Innovations (Tk-8th grade)

    The class runs Mondays 9:00 am - 1:00 pm.
     Available year round (32 weeks), Trimester (10 -12week blocks), Monthly (4 sessions) or drop in days!

     

    PRICING INFO:

    • Per Trimester: $765 a trimester. Trimesters run 10-12 weeks, depending on holidays. A $50 deposit is due at time of enrollment. Payment plans available in two or three installments per trimester. Below are the trimester dates: 
      • Trimester 1: 8/18- 11/11 ( 10 classes, NO Class 9/1, 10/13, 11/10)
      • Trimester 2: 11/17 - 2/23 (10 classes, NO Class 11/24, 12/22, 12/29, 1/19, 2/16)
      • Trimester 3: 3/2 - 5/19 (11 classes, NO Class 4/6, 5/25) 
    • Per Month: $275 a month or for (4) consecutive sessions, excluding holidays. Payment in full is due at the time of enrollment. 
    • Per Day: $80 daily drop in. Payment in full is due at the time of enrollment. After enrolling, please reach out to our team at enrollment@sochh.org to confirm a day for drop in. 

    Payment Commitment: For whichever length of enrollment you choose for each of your students, you are responsible to pay the entire amount of that fee, regardless of absences or early withdrawal.

    Who is eligible for enrollment? The Arts & Innovation class is for both SOCHH Students and NON-SOCHH students in Kinder-8th grade.

     
    Can I attend even if I am not attending SOCHH Core Tue, Wed, Thur? Yes you can this is open to all students in the community although currently enrolled SOCHH students get priority enrollment.


    Are charter funds accepted? Yes, we now accept charter funds for both the 10 week sessions and yearly (32 week) enrollment. For families wanting to use charter funds, a Payment Authorization Form is required for completion of enrollment in the event of a charter not being able to pay for the class fees. 

    Does my student have to attend if they are enrolled in the CORE program? No! This is an optional add-on program.


    Does this require homework to be completed at home? No there are no specific at home homework components.


    Will my students be creating ART? Yes! Among many other projects! Coding, Robotics and other creative modalities will all be used in this program.

  • Enrollment Agreements and Signatures

    Please read the following info carefully. You will be held responsible to understanding and agreeing to the following acknowledgments.
  • Enrollment Acknowledgment:

    By signing below, I am accepting, understanding, and acknowledging the following: 1) SOCHH (SOUTH OC HYBRID HOMESCHOOL) is NOT a formal school of record, is not an accredited school, and is not a private school. SOCHH is a learning/tutoring center. 2) I am responsible for enrolling my student(s) in a homeschooling charter or a PSP, OR for filing a PSA and keeping my own records, UNLESS my child is not yet 6 years old and is therefore under the age required to enroll in first grade, per California ED code 4800 and 48200.

  • Photograph Release:

    I understand that my child(ren) may be photographed at SOCHH (South OC Hybrid Homeschool) during school hours, field trips, or activities. I understand that these photographs may be used to share amongst the parents of our enrolled student in our private communications, newsletters, social media, our private facebook group, parent-teacher apps for communication or via email. Additionally, we sometimes will feature students' work or classroom activities on our social media channels to highlight achievements of a student, a class, or the program in general. With my signature below, I grant permission for my child(ren) to be photographed, or their images recorded, for print or electronic use at SOCHH (South OC Hybrid Homeschool). I agree that this form will remain in effect during the term of my child’s enrollment. I understand that there will be no payment for me or for my child’s participation in this release.

  • Release of Liability:

    I understand and agree to a full and complete waiver and release of any and all liability (“Liability Release”) on the part SOCHH (South OC Hybrid Homeschool), its staff, teachers, playground monitors and parent volunteers in connection with my child’s attendance at SOCHH (South OC Hybrid Homeschool) and participation in all activities, including, but not limited to, playground activities, classroom activities and field trips taken in connection with SOCHH (South OC Hybrid Homeschool). I understand and agree that this Liability Release will apply to the entire duration of my child’s attendance at SOCHH (South OC Hybrid Homeschool) and participation in all activities. I further authorize anyone working at SOCHH (South OC Hybrid Homeschool) to obtain medical care for my child or to transport my child to a clinic or hospital if, in the opinion of anyone working at SOCHH (South OC Hybrid Homeschool), medical attention is needed for my child. I agree that if SOCHH (South OC Hybrid Homeschool) releases my child to me, my designee, an ambulance or other medical transport, a medical facility, a clinic or a hospital, that SOCHH (South OC Hybrid Homeschool) staff shall not have any further responsibility for my child. I agree to pay all costs associated with such medical care and related transportation for my child and indemnify and hold SOCHH (South OC Hybrid Homeschool), its representatives and agents harmless from any costs incurred in connection with such medical attention or any related claims. This Liability Release may only be revoked in a writing that is signed by both myself and the Director of SOCHH (South OC Hybrid Homeschool). I acknowledge that I have carefully read this Liability Release and understand its contents. 

     
    I agree that this Waiver and Release of Liability shall apply to each day I or my child(ren)  am at SOCHH (South OC Hybrid Homeschool) regardless of the date that this form is signed below. I agree I will assume the risk and full responsibility for any and all injuries, losses, or damages, that might occur to my child or other family members while on the premises of the campus  or participating in any off-site program or activity; and to the maximum extent of the law, I agree to waive and release any and all claims, suits, or related causes of action against SOCHH (South OC Hybrid Homeschool), their owners, officers, employees or agents for injury, loss, death, costs or other damages to me, my heirs or assigns, or third party claims, suits or related causes of action asserted against the arising from my conduct and/or my family’s conduct while participating in SOCHH (South OC Hybrid Homeschool) programs or activities. I further agree to release, indemnify, defend and hold SOCHH (South OC Hybrid Homeschool) harmless from any liability whatsoever for future claims presented by my child for any injuries, losses or damages.

  • I hereby enroll my child(ren) in South Orange County Hybrid Homeschool for the term I am selecting on this form.  I understand that fees are non refundable and are due in full at the time of enrollment. South OC Hybrid Homeschool accepts cash, credit cards, check, and Venmo. I understand that the returned check fee is $25 per returned check or failed transaction. NO charter funds can be submitted for the Arts & Innovation and Foundations classes.

    I agree to pay class per the registration form, as indicated herein.  I understand and acknowledge that South OC Hybrid Homeschool is a learning center of limited enrollment and that, in accepting this enrollment and agreement form together with the non-refundable program fee, South OC Hybrid Homeschool agrees to provide a place for my child(ren) for the aforementioned term.

    I further understand and agree that there are no refunds if my child does not attend classes or withdraws.

    The undersigned parents or guardians hereby agree that South OC Hybrid Homeschool shall at all times have the right, with or without cause and in its sole discretion, to dismiss or expel the above-named student(s) or refuse to enroll such student(s) for any succeeding school year.

    No reduction or reimbursement is made for the withdrawal, dismissal, or absence of a student during the term for whatever reason, excepting the death or incapacity of my child(ren). I further specifically agree to waive any claim against South OC Hybrid Homeschool for any losses or damages in any way associated with South OC Hybrid Homeschool’s refusal to enroll the above named student(s) for any succeeding school year.

    In the event it becomes necessary to institute legal action to reinforce the terms of this agreement, I agree that the matter shall be determined only by binding arbitration, according to the rules of the American Arbitration Association and, in the event that the academic program prevails in such action, I will pay the reasonable costs of that action, including reasonable attorneys fees incurred.

    By my signature(s) below and on the attached contract, I certify that I have read and understand the terms stated in this agreement and its addendum and agree thereto.
