UVA is offering spring break camps for ages 5-12. Read each camp description here:

Spring Nature Camp with teacher Brittany (Age 5-8) from 9:00-12:30

In this spring break camp inspired by the wonders of nature, campers will take inspiration from plants, animals, and natural materials with teacher Brittany. Through hands-on projects, outdoor observation, and creative play, students will connect with the natural world while developing their creativity and imagination!

Clean Dirt Fun: Clay Camp with teacher Ashley (Age 9-12) from 9:00-12:30

In the Clay Place Studio, students will learn basic ceramic skills, inspire creativity, and create a little springtime fun! Each day, instructor Ashley will lead students through a different project that celebrates the spring season and allows students to explore their creativity.

Standards of Conduct
Students, visitors, and staff are expected to maintain a standard of behavior conducive to the community spirit of learning and working at the Umpqua Valley Arts Association (UVA). Any individual in violation of these standards will not be allowed to continue classes, and any remaining tuition will be forfeited. UVA reserves the right to refuse enrollment as deemed appropriate by any staff member.UVA will not assume responsibility for the student’s actions that are not related to teaching or learning art. If behavior is deemed inappropriate, UVA will initiate contact with the parents or guardians. If the problem persists, we may cancel the student’s enrollment from the art classes without refunds.
Health & Safety
If a student exhibits signs of sickness (cough, fever, etc.), the student’s parents will be contacted to pick up the student.For student safety, we ask that all students be picked up by 12:30pm. If pick-up will be later than 5 minutes, please contact the UVA office.During this learning experience, your child might have the opportunity to create art by using various instruments and tools that could cause injury, such as hot glue guns, scissors, carving tools, etc. Our instructors supervise all youth classes, but we ask that you agree to waive, indemnify, protect, and hold harmless The Umpqua Valley Arts Association, its members, instructors, teachers, employees, volunteers, and all private persons from any claim or liability whatsoever, including—but not limited to—personal injury, property damage, court costs, attorney fees and interests, however caused, resulting from participation in classes and camps.I (we) authorize Umpqua Valley Arts Association and their representatives, to authorize medical attention by certified medical personnel (i.e. EMT, First Responder, E. R. Physician) for my son/daughter, which may become necessary. I (we) understand that I (we) will be notified as soon as possible in the event of an emergency. My insurance company or I will assume all expenses of such treatment. I (we) agree to protect, defend, indemnify and hold harmless Umpqua Valley Arts Association, including its board of directors, employees, artists and volunteers from and against all claims, demand, losses, suits, liabilities, costs or other damages including court costs and attorney fees.Does your child have any allergies or dietary restrictions?Are there any special accommodations?

Student Artwork
UVA is not responsible for any artwork unclaimed for more than 30 days after final day of each camp session. Students' artwork may be disposed of if not claimed by the 30th day after discontinuance. UVA will make every effort to contact via email/phone within the 30 day time frame.
Refund Policy
Full payment at time of registration is required. Up until two weeks prior to the start of the event, you will receive a full refund (minus a $10 service charge) should you need to cancel your registration. However, cancellations made after this two-week time frame are nonrefundable. Should UVA cancel the event, all participants will receive a full refund or credit toward future classes.
