2026 MCA Community Stage Performance Application

Before applying, please read the following:

Performer Dates & Details

Fair Dates: Wednesday, July 1 – Sunday, July 5, 2026
MCA Community Stage Hours: Daily from 12 PM to 7:00 PM
Performance Length: Typically 30-45 minutes per performance group (some exceptions may apply)

Eligibility & Priority

Priority is given to Marin County-based acts, as well as community organizations such as schools, dance studios, and local performance groups
Applications from out-of-state acts or groups based outside the San Francisco Bay Area will not be considered

Performer Benefits

Honorarium: $100 per approved 30-45 minute performance
Fair Admission: Each performer will receive one complimentary fair ticket, good for the entire day of their performance
Parking: Each performance group will be allocated a limited number of parking passes to help manage space availability. Carpooling is required for all performance groups. Parking on the fairgrounds is limited and not guaranteed.
Promotion: Selected acts will be featured on the Marin County Fair website and online promotions

Important Notes

This application is for the MCA Community Stage only
Main Stage/Headliner entertainment is by invitation only
The Community Stage provides a basic PA system, microphones, monitors, and essential stage amenities, but no backline or additional equipment. A full tech sheet must be provided upon acceptance with contract. Stage operations are supported by an IATSE Local 16 sound technician and a stage manager.
Complimentary performer tickets do not include parent/guardian admission or parking. Additional admission tickets must be purchased online in advance.

Application Deadline: March 2, 2026
Submission: All applications must be submitted online using this form; late applications will not be accepted
Notification of Selection: April 1, 2026
Performer Confirmation, Contract, and Tech Sheet Due: April 30, 2026
Late confirmation or contract submission will result in forfeiture of the assigned performance slot.
