Volunteer Opportunities

Here at Hopeful Hearts, we believe everyone has something to contribute!
Please check all volunteer opportunities that interest you:*

Cat Care/Cleaning: Assist with feeding/watering, cage cleaning/disinfecting, scooping litter, mopping, etc. to keep our cat areas tidy.Dog Care/Cleaning: Help with feeding/watering, kennel cleaning/disinfecting, mopping etc. to keep our dogs' spaces sanitary.General Cleaning: Support overall shelter cleanliness by dusting/mopping in our office, bathroom, and common areas. Help with organizing/putting away donations.Property Maintenance: Assist with basic repairs/upkeep in the shelter and/or outdoor lawncare/landscaping on shelter grounds.Dog Walking: Help our dogs get some much-needed exercise and teach leash manners on regular walks.Cat Socialization: Spend time petting and interacting with cats to help them feel relaxed and increase their adoptability.Dog Socialization: Help dogs build confidence through play, training, enrichment activities, and positive human interactions.Adoption Events: Get involved by helping with set-up, animal-handling, and talking with potential adopters/donors.Fundraising/Events/Outreach: Contribute to our goal of outreach and raising funds by helping to organize and attend/staff events.
