  • COVID19 and Haliburton Art and Craft Festival

    Ontario Health, Haliburton, Kawartha, Pine Ridge District Health (HKPR) and Haliburton and the Municipality of Dysart et al regulations may impact Haliburton Art and Craft Festival 2026. Last year we made modifications to entry to grounds, layout, arrival and departure logistics and services; these will continue until further notice. We are a "mask-friendly" environment.

  • We welcome your application online. There is no fee to apply. Online applications are due Friday February 27 at 10pm. 

    ONLY accepted applicants will receive the Registration Package, Payment Form and regular updates. 

    • ALL applicants must complete this application. This includes anyone who has participated in past year(s).

    • We do not accept paper applications. 
    • Incomplete or late applications will not be considered.

    • A maximum of 100 spots are available.
    • If you are accepted you will be emailed the Registration Package and Payment Form on or before April 11, 2026.

    • Jury selection is final. 

    • No booth sharing between distinctly different types of work/studios/artists/artisans 

    Festival Hours

    Friday July 24     12 noon until 5 pm 

    Saturday July 25 10 am until 5 pm 

    Sunday July 26    10 am until 4 pm 

    Location 

    Head Lake Park next to Rails End Gallery and Arts Centre, 23 York Street, Haliburton Village, Ontario K0M1S0

    Attendance projection and admission 

    5,500 local residents, cottagers, Canadian and International tourists. Public admission $5 by cash or tap

    Amenities

    Park setting, WIFI, Tourist Welcome Centre on site with accessible washrooms, free bikeshare, E-vehicle charging, water-bottle refill station, swimming, adventure playground, dog park, 2 min walk to downtown Haliburton, overnight security, Vendor Parking on site. 

    Booth Fees 2026

    One 10' x 10 ' canopy/tent will fit in a standard spot. WIDTH is across front, DEPTH is how far back it goes.  ***SHADE AWNINGS may extend beyond the front line of your assigned spot by 30 inches provided they are securely attached to the canopy/tent and do not interfere with foot or vehicle traffic or adjacent participant's spots.

    STANDARD 10' x 10' $395 plus HST

    DOUBLE DEEP 10' front x 20' deep $595 plus HST

    DOUBLE WIDE 20' wide x 10' deep $595 plus HST

    *If your booth requires additional square footage please contact us at the time of space booking for pricing. 

    Fees may be paid by: 

    E-transfer (preferred method)
    cash
    certified cheque/money order 

    Invoicing

    DO NOT SEND PAYMENT BEFORE GETTING YOUR INVOICE! 

    If you are accepted you will be sent an Acceptance Notice which must be completed and returned immediately. (this is where you choose booth size etc.)

    Your invoice will then be created emailed to you with payment instructions.

  • Exhibitor Agreement 

    Please read and sign off below: 

    If selected to participate in Haliburton Art and Craft Festival I will only show and sell articles which are in keeping with my application images in identity, materials and methods.

    I certify that all works in my booth will be original works, created by my studio, using my own original designs.

    If I apply into Visual Art, all reproductions will be clearly identified for customers. My application will indicate what percentage of my inventory is made by my hand vs. reproduced by other means i.e. digital reproduction on any material. 

    The organizers reserve the right to remove work that does not comply with this agreement.

  • Materials and Method (Max 200 words)

    • Use point form only
    • List materials you use to create your work. 
    • Describe any unique characteristics of your work or methods. i.e. eco-friendly, locally sourced materials etc. 
    • Visual artists: this is where you let us know if you are offering reproductions of your work alongside original work. Be specific. i.e. 20% giclee, 10% digital print on silk scarf, 70% original
    • If other people are involved in making your work describe their role

    You will need:

    • CURRENT images representing examples of the work you plan to sell - not old work.
    • 6 different high quality PRODUCT images (max. file size 5MB) 
    • NO Booth images allowed
      NO duplicate images
    • Re-name these 6 images, in order, before upload as follows:  YOURSTUDIONAME-1.jpg 
    • size/function/title/medium for each image (up to 20 words)
    • retail price range in $ for each product shown

    TIP 1: Be sure your images show your work at it's best. Eliminate visual clutter. Provide closeup images if you want the viewer to notice detail. Do not include branding. 

    TIP 2: Use CURRENT images! This is very important.

    The images you provide may be used for promotional purposes for Haliburton Art and Craft Festival if you are accepted.
