UDOLO WANGA THEATRE FESTIVAL AND CONFERENCE-CALL FOR PRODUCTIONS

Udolo Wanga Theatre Festival and Conference is an international performing arts platform based in Blantyre, Malawi. The festival will run from 21st - 25th May 2026, dedicated to celebrating bold, socially engaged theatre and fostering meaningful dialogue between artists, communities, and cultural practitioners. The festival brings together theatre companies, creatives, researchers, and policymakers from Africa and beyond to present innovative productions, share knowledge, and explore how theatre can respond to SRHR, not limited to sexual exploitation and abuse, climate change, and gender. Through performances, conferences, workshops, and community exchanges, Udolo Wangacreates a space for artistic excellence, critical reflection, and cultural solidarity.
