Foster Agreement Terms and Conditions:

By submitting this form electronically, I confirm that I have read and fully understand this questionnaire and agreement in its entirety.

I understand that submitting a foster application does not guarantee approval. I further understand that any false, misleading, or incomplete information, or failure to follow the requirements and policies of Venturing Pack Rescue, may result in denial of my application and/or immediate removal of any dog(s) in my care.

I certify that all information provided is true, accurate, and may be verified by Venturing Pack Rescue.

I understand that all foster dog(s) remain the property of Venturing Pack Rescue unless otherwise stated in writing.

I agree to provide proper care, supervision, food, water, shelter, exercise, and a safe environment for the foster dog(s) at all times.

I agree to immediately notify Venturing Pack Rescue of any illness, injury, behavioral concern, bite incident, escape, loss, or emergency involving the foster dog(s).

I understand that all veterinary care must be approved in advance by Venturing Pack Rescue unless emergency treatment is immediately necessary to prevent serious harm or suffering to the dog(s). In the event of an emergency, I agree to notify Venturing Pack Rescue immediately.

I agree to allow Venturing Pack Rescue to complete reference checks and conduct a virtual or in-person home visit as part of the approval process.

I understand and agree to the “3-3-3 Rule,” recognizing that dogs may need approximately 3 days to decompress, 3 weeks to begin settling in, and 3 months to fully adjust. I agree to provide patience, structure, supervision, and a safe environment during this transition period.

I acknowledge that animals can be unpredictable and may cause injury or property damage. I voluntarily assume all risks associated with fostering the dog(s).

I agree to release, indemnify, and hold harmless Venturing Pack Rescue, its volunteers, members, representatives, and affiliates from any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, or expenses arising from or related to the care, behavior, actions, or presence of the foster dog(s) while in my care.

If I am no longer able to foster the dog(s), I agree to return the dog(s) to Venturing Pack Rescue and, whenever possible, provide at least two weeks’ notice to allow time for alternate foster placement arrangements.
