  • Sensitivity can show up in many different ways, and there is no single expression of what it means to be an HSP. Some of us may relate more to the orchid type—deeply responsive to our environments and thriving with the right conditions—while others may feel closer to the dandelion type, with sensitivity that is steady and resilient across a wide range of settings. Many of us find ourselves somewhere in between, changing across seasons and life experiences.

This retreat warmly welcomes the full spectrum of sensitivity. You don’t need to label yourself in any particular way—only to arrive as you are. Whether you are newly exploring your sensitivity or have long embraced it, you are invited into a space that values gentleness, respect, and self-paced participation.

If you’re curious, reflective, or simply seeking a place where sensitivity is understood and honored, you are very welcome here

  • Creating a Safe and Connected Space

We invite all participants to help co-create a space of safety, respect, and mutual care. We ask that you honor one another’s differences and meet each other with generosity of spirit. When disagreements arise, we encourage curiosity and open-mindedness—speaking your own truth with kindness, integrity, and respect for others.

Please feel free to ask questions, while also honoring that some participants may need time and inner spaciousness before sharing, and that some may choose not to share at all. Listening deeply is as valuable as speaking.

As highly sensitive people, we may share certain traits, yet we each arrive with our own unique mix of personalities, cultures, life experiences, identities, interests, and levels of self-awareness. We include introverts and extroverts, thinkers and feelers, speakers and listeners—all belonging equally.

In the spirit of The Work That Reconnects, we remember our interdependence and our shared humanity, and we welcome whatever arises with compassion. Gatherings like this often plant the seeds of meaningful connection, renewed purpose, and personal and collective healing.

Thank you for being here. May this time together be nourishing, grounding, and inspiring. 🌱
