To Consign Fleeces to the Sale:

If entering fleece in the Fleece Competition, please see additional Fleece Competition Rules.
1. A handling fee will be charged for each fleece: $5.00 per fleece if registered on line by March 8, 2025. $7 per fleece if registered between March 9, 2025, and March 14, 2025. The registration fee is non-refundable and must be paid at time of registration.
2. Online Registration will cease operation at 11:00 pm March 8, 2025. After March 9, registration must occur onsite and increased fee of $7/fleece will apply.
3. The number of fleeces entered is limited to 15 fleeces per person/farm.
4. Fleeces may be delivered Thursday March 13, 2025, from 12 pm until 7:00 pm or Friday March 14, 2025, from 8 am to 9:30 am. No fleeces will be accepted after 9:30 am on Friday, March 14.
5. The fleece sale hours are 10 am - 6 pm on Friday March 14, and 9 am - 4 pm on Saturday March 15, 2025.
6. Fleeces must be in clear or white undamaged plastic bags that can be easily opened. No ties or knots. (Clear bags if in Fleece Competition.)
7. Each fleece must be marked with 2 individual fleece tags indicating farm information, washed or unwashed status, if entered in Fleece Competition, and other related information. After completing an Individual Fleece Tag for each fleece, you will receive an email that allows you to print the 2 tags to accompany each fleece.
8. Entrants may place promotional materials in with a fleece and are encouraged to do so.
9. Fleeces should be skirted to remove manure tags, and be free of excessive vegetable matter and second cuts. Fleeces with any indication of pest infestation will be rejected. We reserve the right to reject any fleece deemed unsuitable.
10. Please make copies of your paperwork to help you remember what you brought.
11. Fleece bags will be left open for display.
12. Fleeces may also be entered in the Fleece Competition - optional and no additional charge. They must be received by 7:00 pm Thursday, March 13, 2025, to be eligible. Judging of the Fleece Competition will commence after 7 pm Thursday, March 13, 2025. Please see additional Fleece Competition Rules.
13. Unsold fleeces must be picked up from 3-5 pm on Saturday March 15, 2025. Any fleeces left after that time become the property of Carolina FiberFest.
14. Carolina FiberFest is not responsible for lost, missing or damaged fleeces.
15. Money collected for fleece sales will be paid by check and mailed to the consigner within three weeks after the Festival ends.
