Guidelines and Agreements:
Please read each carefully before agreeing. This details many of the foster's responsibilities.
The Foster acknowledges that transporting the foster dog to veterinary appointments is a condition of fostering with Country Acres Rescue. The Foster will be provided with the appointment date, time, and location in advance and agrees to ensure the dog arrives as scheduled. Failure to attend scheduled appointments without prior approval from Country Acres Rescue may be considered a violation of this Agreement.

Adoption Events: The Foster agrees to transport and attend adoption events, meet-and-greets, and other rescue-related events with the foster dog when requested by Country Acres Rescue, provided the dog is deemed suitable for public events by Country Acres Rescue. Reasonable advance notice will be provided whenever possible.

The Foster agrees to provide regular photos and updates on the foster dog, complete Country Acres Rescue's profile template when requested, and upload photos and videos to the designated MyAlbums folder in a timely manner.

The Foster agrees not to change, advertise, or publicly refer to the foster dog by any name other than the name assigned by Country Acres Rescue without prior approval from Country Acres Rescue.

I agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless Country Acres Rescue and any of their employees or agents, from and against any and all losses, damages, costs, expenses including reasonable attorneys’ fees, obligations, duties, fines, penalties, interest charges or other liabilities including settlement amounts, paid or incurred as a result of any claims, demands, lawsuits, damages, actions, judgments or proceedings, which may occur to or be suffered by me, members of my household, or any third parties, by reason of activities arising out of this Agreement, including but not limited to, any liability caused by accident or other occurrence resulting in bodily injury, death, sickness or disease to any person(s) or damage or destruction to any property, real or personal, tangible or intangible.

The Foster agrees to keep confidential any non-public information obtained through Country Acres Rescue, including but not limited to adopter information, applicant information, volunteer information, veterinary records, internal communications, rescue operations, and financial matters. Such information may not be shared with third parties without the prior consent of Country Acres Rescue.The Foster further agrees not to make public statements or social media posts on behalf of Country Acres Rescue unless authorized to do so.

I understand that although Country Acres Rescue takes reasonable care to screen animals for foster care placement, Country Acres Rescue makes no guarantees, claims, representations, or warranties, either express or implied, as to the health, behavior, temperament or actions of any foster animal(s). I hereby assume all risk of injury to myself, members of my household or any third parties, other pets, or damage or destruction to any property, real or personal, tangible or intangible.

By checking this box, I agree to foster this animal until adopted. If I can no longer care for this animal, I will inform Country Acres Rescue immediately. I agree to give 30 days of notice that I can no longer house/care for the animal to allow for Country Acres Rescue to find a new foster placement. I understand the adoption process may take several months and hereby agree to fostering until adoption occurs. I agree that I have no rights to rehome the animal or leave it in the care of anyone else without written permission from Country Acres Rescue. I agree that the animal will not be surrendered to any rescue or shelter.

I agree that the final disposition of any fostered animal(s) will be determined solely by Country Acres Rescue. If Country Acres Rescue requests the return of the animal(s), the animal(s) will be returned within twenty-four (24) hours.

I agree to provide humane care, adequate shelter, and food to the foster animal(s) while in my care. I agree that I will be the primary caretaker of the fostered animal(s) and agree to ensure, and take full responsibility for, the health and well-being of the fostered animal(s).

I acknowledge that Country Acres Rescue is not liable for any veterinary expenses of the foster animal(s) should the foster care provider seek veterinary treatment from any outside source not pre-authorized. Such veterinary care is not authorized by the terms of this Agreement.
