ACEM is pleased to offer a series of face‑to‑face workshops across Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand designed for supervisors across the ACEM Training Programs.
These sessions focus on strengthening supervisory skills and supporting trainees throughout their training journey. Participants will explore key topics including effective feedback and difficult conversations, managing a diverse trainee cohort, supporting trainees in difficulty, and navigating core College processes.
These workshops provide a valuable opportunity to build confidence, share experiences, and enhance the support you provide to trainees. Registrations are open to anyone who holds the following supervisory role:
- Director of Emergency Medicine Training (DEMT)
- Paediatric DEMT
- Local WBA Coordinator (LWBAC)
- Emergency Medicine Associateship Training Program (EMATP) Supervisor
- SIMG Supervisor
There is no cost to register to attend these workshops however, ACEM are unable to cover any travel costs incurred for attendees.

This workshop does not meet the workshop requirement for the DEMT, Local WBA Coordinator or EMATP Supervisor position descriptions. To ensure requirements are met, please register for the DEMT Orientation, Local WBA Coordinator Orientation or EMATP Supervisor workshops advertised.
