  • Become a SuperTutor!

  • To help you decide whether SuperTutors is a good fit, the two sample profile paragraphs below offer a representative snapshot of the experience and background our tutors typically bring. These profiles are designed to help families understand a tutor’s teaching experience, instructional philosophy, core skills, professional education and certifications, and, where relevant, personal interests. Tutoring through SuperTutors is competitive, and we specialize in matching families with educators who have meaningful classroom experience. This does not require that you are currently teaching, but it does mean you have spent substantial time in a classroom, understand learning styles and differentiated instruction, and take a holistic, student-centered approach. Our tutors know how to meet students where they are after a long school day and how to motivate them effectively. Strong communication is also essential. Tutors are expected to send a brief message after each session summarizing what was covered, how the student performed, and the session length.  If this aligns with your experience and approach, please continue reviewing the profiles and complete the rest of the form. I look forward to hearing from you.
