The LIC-A members show at Atlantic has become a regular event each year since 2015. These LIC-A exhibitions have been successful and enduring because they are exciting, provide wonderful exposure in the Chelsea art scene, and, most of all, because LIC-A artists, your colleagues, have enthusiastically supported them. The environment for art is both intimate and attractive, and the experience for participating artists, working collaboratively on a relatively small scale, has been extremely satisfying in its collegiality.
Although our exhibition for 2026 was scheduled for the fall, due to a recent cancellation Atlantic is giving us this upcoming 4-week show at a substantial discount that will cut the total costs to artists in half! We need to know how many artists want to take advantage of this extraordinary deal.
The costs of the exhibition are shared by all the artists in the show which depends on how many sign up. Participation in these group exhibits has ranged from 25 to more than 35 artists. The final per artist cost for this is estimated to range from $115 (35 artists sign up) to $161 (25 artists) per artist. These fees include the costs for gallery rental, gallery manager present five open days, reception, notice in Gallery Guide and other online publications, design and printing of marketing materials, and creating an online version of the show.
