    By completing and submiting this application form, you will automatically be applied for any scholarship you meet the criteria for.     Applications will be scored and ranked by an independent committee appointed by the Shelby County Farm Bureau Foundation, not affiliated with Shelby County, Shelby County Farm Bureau or Shelby County Farm Bureau Foundation.

     

    Chris Barker Memorial Scholarship (Four $1,000 scholarships awarded)

    Hunter Legacy Scholarship (One $1,500 scholarship awarded)

    John Culumber Memorial Scholarship (Ten $1,000 scholarships awarded)

    Shelby County Farm Bureau Scholarship (Ten $1,000 scholarships awarded)

    Shelby County Farm Bureau Trade School Scholarship (Two $1,000 scholarships awarded)

    If you are selected as a recipient...

    Recipients will be notified via email in April 2026. Recipients will be announced and posted to our website in May 2026. A news release will be published June 1, 2026 in our membership newspaper.

    We would like to recognize our high school scholarship recipients at their High School Graduation awards night. Please work with us to get that scheduled.

    We invite all scholarship recipients to our June board of directors meeting to be recognized for their outstanding academic success. This will be June 9, 2026 at 7:00 PM at the Shelby County Farm Bureau office. Please mark your calendars.

    We also ask that scholarship recipients plan to volunteer at a minimum of one of our fundraising events. Students will receive an email about volunteer signup.
