  • This league works as a co-op.  We NEED YOU to keep our league costs down!

If you are unable to volunteer as a Coach, Co-Coach, Ref, or Team Parent, we offer the Team Role Opt-Out. This is an additional $25/for 1 child or $45/2+ kids fee per family, per sport.

    TEAM ROLE EXPECTATIONS -

    COACH:

Attend and assist during the Volunteers Meeting/Player Fundamentals Clinic. This assures we are all on the same page, running our games efficiently and the Brayge Sports way.
Arrive 10 minutes before your game begins.
PLEASE wear the COACH shirt on the outside of any other wear.
Allow a max of 5 players on the field per rotation.
Rotate players every 3-4 minutes to make sure all players have equal play time.
Refs have control of the field/court.  Please do not override their call.
Encourage and support all players.  Remove players who don't demonstrate sportsmanship (cheating, rough housing, language, etc.) We don't teach complex techniques, but keep it active and fast-paced.
Follow the Brayge Sports Rules of Play.  This is about the players having fun, especially if this is their first team sport experience.

Supply name tags for players/Coaches each week.
Gather emails and/or phone numbers to schedule a team snack calendar for the season.  Call or email families before the game to remind them of their upcoming snack day.

Help with sanitizing players’ hands who are out on rotation.

    GENERAL:

As a volunteer, we cannot run this league without your help, and we appreciate every ounce of it! THANK YOU!!! Please, PLEASE commit to the season.  This league is only 5 weeks, so it’s easier to keep the commitment for your team.  You are doing more than you know.  If you find you need to miss a game, please find a replacement.

If you are assigned in any of these positions, and are unable to fulfill these outlined expectations, you must pay the Volunteer Opt-out Fee.

We will provide Coaches and Refs with a team shirt (please provide size), Refs with a team whistle, and Team Parent with access to the Snack Sign-Up Sheet found on our website Brayge.com.

We provide all game balls during the season.

  • Sports Clinics are optional, though strongly recommended if players are new to Brayge Sports, or want the extra practice. They will be learning the basics of the game through practice drills, games, and scrimmage.

Offered for 1.5 hours over one mid-week evening before the start of each seasonal sport.

    $10 per player

It is MANDATORY that Coaches and Refs attend and assist during the Clinic.
