MIST New York 2026 Absence Form
All students are required to be at the venue during MIST hours. If a competitor cannot attend any portion of the tournament, they must submit this form with appropriate documentation attached to it. Possible scenarios for which this form must be submitted include: Arriving to the venue later in the day; Missing a workshop; Missing a competition a student is registered for; or Leaving early. For Sports Weekend, this form is due on January 17th. For Main Tournament Weekend, this form is due March 21st. No late submissions will be accepted.

We reserve the right to dock points if we notice a student is missing and this form has not been submitted with documentation. A student who fails to notify us of a documented absence from a competition he/she is registered for will be considered a “no-show” and earn negative points for his/her team. Parents may be notified by phone regarding students who are missing from the venue when expected to be present.
