Welcome to our 11th Annual City-Wide African American History Parade! The Parade event will be held on Saturday, February 21, 2026.

Staging Begins at 8:00AM (Location: Texas @ Hamilton Downtown)

Parade Begins at 10:00AM

Rules and Regulations:
- Authorization to the parade is required therefore the contact person should secure a document by completing this form and waiting for approval.
- All participating entrants must complete the Parade Entry Form, provide the appropriate documentation, and payment required by January 31, 2026 to The Houston Sun Foundation.
- You may distribute treats on the parade route.
Entry Fee Payment & Categories
- $100 fee for car & truck entries received by January 31, 2026
- $150 fee for car & truck entries received AFTER January 31, 2026
- $50 fee for Youth Groups/Organizations
- $25 fee for Walkers/Drumlines
- FREE to Bands
- FREE to Schools
- FREE to Cheer Teams
- FREE to Dancers

Note: All units are requested to enclose a photograph if possible. Completion of the entry form does not imply acceptance.

The application must be signed.

If the paraticipant is under the age of 18 years, the parent or guardian must sign.
