  • TOURNAMENT FORMATS

    U11 will be a mixed event
    U13s,  and U15s will have separate Boys & Girls events

    U11 Mixed
    The tournament format will be a two-stage Round Robin league.

    Round one will be 5 groups of five players. Each competitor will play four matches against every other player in their group.

    The winners of each group will go into the Championship (Division 1). Runners-up in each group will go into the Consolation (Division 2). The 3rd placed players will go into Division 3, 4th placed players into Division 4 and 5th placed players into Division 5. All divisions will be a round-robin league.

    The 1st, 2nd and 3rd placed players in the Championship & Consolation will receive medals on the day.

    U13 Boys / U15 Boys
    The tournament format will be a hybrid of knock-outs and a two-stage Round Robin league.

    Round one will be 5 groups of five players. Each competitor will play four matches against every other player in their group.

    The winners and runners-up in each of the 5 groups will go into a single knockout championship competition. The 3rd placed players will into Consolation Division 1, 4th placed players into Division 2 and 5th placed players into Division 3. The Consolation divisions will be a round-robin league.

    The 1st, 2nd and 3rd placed players in the Championship will receive medals on the day.

    U13 Girls / U15 Girls
    Round robin (groups of 7) followed by Knockout (The top two players in each group go through to the Championship and the 3rd and 4th placed players go through to the Consolation).

    A separate entry form must be completed by each player. All entrants should ensure that they have read the regulations, which apply to this tournament.

    If a competition is fully subscribed: please email the player's full name; date of birth; gender and TTE licence number, along with your preferred competitions to: info@londonttacademy.com.

    The player will be placed on the reserve list and we will contact you in the event of spaces becoming available.

    All requests to book a reserve place via text or WhatsApp will be ignored.

      A player under 18 may not participate in a Table Tennis England event or competition unless a parent or guardian of that player has consented to testing of that player in the following form:

    • REGULATIONS

      1. Every entrant must be affiliated as a Compete Plus Member or provide proof of being a member of another National Association affiliated to the ITTF and pay the appropriate fee in order to gain a reciprocal membership.

        An entrant who is not a TTE member or is affiliated as a Supporter or Club Play Member may alternately purchase a One-Off Tournament Pass at the time of entry via https://tabletennisengland.sport80.com/ once this product is launched.

        An entrant only affiliated as a Compete member may enter the tournament upon payment of the appropriate One-Time Tournament Top-Up fee via https://tabletennisengland.sport80.com/

        It is not possible to obtain the OTTP or the OTTT at the tournament

      2. TTE Regulations Part A (Regulated Competitions) and Part B (Tournament Regulations) apply to the tournament.

      3. ITTF Regulations for International Competitions apply to the tournament except where otherwise specified in TTE Regulations Parts A or B, or in this form.

      4. All competitors may be required to umpire at least one match in each event entered.

      5. U11 Mixed
        The tournament format will be a two-stage Round Robin league.

        U13 Boys / U15 Boys
        The tournament format will be a hybrid of a two-stage Round Robin league and a single knockout tournament.

        U13 Girls / U15 Girls
        Groups followed by Knockout stages.

      6. Matches will be best of five games (1 time-out per match)

      7. Under 11 Mixed (born in or after 2015)
        Under 13 Girls (born in or after 2013)
        Under 13 Boys (born in or after 2013)
        Under 15 Girls (born in or after 2011)
        Under 15 Boys (born in or after 2011)

      8. Playing clothing shall consist of a shirt and shorts, trousers, leggings or skirt, or a one-part sports outfit, socks and playing shoes; a sports hijab may also be worn. Other garments shall not be worn during play except with the permission of the referee. The main colour of a shirt, shorts, trousers or skirt, other than sleeves and collar of a shirt, shall be clearly different from that of the ball in use. Markings or trimming on the front or side of a playing garment and objects such as jewellery worn by a player shall not be so conspicuous or brightly reflecting as to unsight an opponent.

        No competitor or official shall engage in betting on players or matches.

      9. Doping shall not take place either before or during play.

      10. Completion and submission of this Entry Form signifies agreement by the entrant to the conditions of the competition, including any variations of ITTF regulations.

    • TOURNAMENT INFORMATION

      1. Entries must be RECEIVED by no later than 9pm Friday 2nd January 2026.
      2. The Draw will be held on Monday 5th January 2026.
      3. If it becomes necessary to restrict entries, priority will be given in order of receipt. No entry will be accepted after the draw has been made.
      4. Food & drink may be purchased at the venue. There are showers & changing room facilities.
      5. Open cans/other drinks are NOT allowed in the playing hall.
      6. Play will take place on up to 19 Butterfly tables. Butterfly Nets & Posts. Scoring machines will be available for all matches. Separate practice tables will not be available.
      7. Play will be with Butterfly R40 3 star white balls.
      8. Tables will be individually courted. Min ceiling height: 7m; Min. Court Size: 9m X 4.5m.
      9. Lighting is general & fluorescent lighting. Light intensity is 500 lux. Min floor to lighting height: 7m.
      10. The venue has wooden sprung flooring.
      11. There will be no admission charge.
      12. The venue has ample free car parking spaces immediately to the right of the main entrance on Spur Road. There is a security barrier at the main gate. Road access to the venue is within the ULEZ zone.
      13. The results from this tournament will qualify for computer ranking points.
      14. In the case of a player withdrawing from the tournament prior to the closing date, refunds will be processed after the tournament has taken place.
      15. No refunds or transfers are possible after the closing date under any circumstances.
      16. Medals will be awarded to Winners, Runners-up and Semi-finalists in the Championship Competitions.
      17. All entries and event details are subject to COVID-related restrictions, or protocols that Table Tennis England may deem necessary. Venues used for events may impose COVID restrictions that go beyond government guidance.
      18. All participants and attendees at Table Tennis England events are subject to Table Tennis England Codes of Conduct. See here.

      19. TTE, the Organisers and the Referee will not tolerate bad language or verbal abuse of volunteers, officials, staff or venue staff, nor a failure to follow the operational directions of stewards and event staff.       20. Photo/livestreaming London Academy may be taking photos and live streaming matches during this event which may include (but not limited to), using them in our printed and online platforms, social media, press releases and funding applications. If you do not give permission to take photographs and/or video of you (or individuals for whom you are legally responsible), please contact info@londonttacademy.com. Please be aware that we follow the Table Tennis England’s Photo and live streaming Policy.
