    • Directors Vision:
      Attach a document prepared by the director/s including 5 images that represent your vision for the film. These do not need to be a chronological retelling of the story - they’re more an expression of the world and visual language you are trying to create. Include a statement of up to 300 words describing your vision for the film (this could include; tone, mood, approach to cinematography, lighting, performance, costume, production design etc). If you have a co-director, this can be a joint statement.

      Please note that Proud Voices On Screen takes the safety and privacy of our community very seriously. For other initiatives, we have a policy that participants have the right to remain anonymous and should they wish and ordinarily we are happy to omit their name and details from any announcement on our website, social media and anything provided to another organisation for posting.

      However, due to the level of funding being given for this initiative, at this stage we are committed to announcing the names of those who are selected in order to celebrate and uplift our community and offer transparency to those who applied and were not selected. Due to the eligibility requirements being publicly available (that the writer and director need to be queer) it will be difficult to uphold anonymity around the identity/queerness of participants.
