Steve McDonnell Professional Development Institute (PDI) Application

N4A is excited to launch the 19th annual Steve McDonnell Professional Development Institute (PDI). Named after the program's founder, PDI's mission is to create and maintain a learning community that transmits, creates, and preserves the knowledge that defines the profession. After completion of the program, PDI continues to educate its graduates as it is designed to provide continuous professional development. The 2026 PDI will be held June 5th through 7th, 2026, in Las Vegas, NV. The three tracks that will be offered in 2026 are New Practitioner, Leader Manager, & Learning Specialist.

Members attending PDI & convention will have a joint registration fee of $550 for both events. Registration does not include lodging/travel expenses.

Members attending PDI only will have a registration fee of $375.

2026 PDI Timeline:

Week of December 15th, 2025: PDI Application opens

January 30th, 2026: PDI Application closes

February 20th, 2026: Notices go out to applicants
