  • Thank you for your interest in participating in the Parent Voices: Maternal Mental Health Community Conversation. Both sessions are currently full but you can still sign-up to be on the waitlist for one or both session in case someone is able to no longer attend. Brown County Public Health will contact you if we are able to offer you a spot at a session and come off the waitlist.

    Purpose: Brown County Public Health wants to hear from our community members when it comes to maternal mental health. This small group is a chance for parents to share their experiences, ideas, and concerns about mental health during and after pregnancy. Public health staff will listen carefully without judging or interrupting. We want to learn what’s working well, what’s hard, and how we can make programs and services better to support families.

    Who is this for? We are looking for input from:

    • Pregnant women
    • Women with a baby or child up to age 2
    • Partners, family members, or other supports

    All voices are welcome! Must be a resident of Brown County. 

    Details: Participants will attend one community listening session. Each session will last about 1.5 hrs. 

    When & Where: Brown County Public Health will be hosting Community Conversations with Family & Childcare Resources of N.E.W. (414 S Jefferson St, Green Bay, WI 54301). Two dates and times are available:

    1. July 23rd, 2026 from 11:30AM-1:00PM
    2. August 12th, 2026 from 5:30PM-7:00 PM

    Space is limited! Each session is open to 6 people only. Sign-up will close once 6 people are registered for the session. 

    Childcare: On-site childcare will be provided at no cost during the session. 

    Meal will be provided at no cost.

    Thank You Payment: Participants will receive $100 for their time, provided as a Walmart gift card (Alcohol/Tobacco/Lottery/Firearms Prohibited) after the session. 

    Transportation help is available, including:

    • Bus passes
    • Ride-share support
    • Gas money

    • A report summarizing the session will be sent back to participants to ensure that your experiences are accurately represented. 
    • Questions for the session will be sent to you ahead of time if you would like to prepare in advance (not required).

  • A summary of what is shared during the listening sessions will not include names or personal details. This summary may be used for community health planning (such as the Community Health Assessment and Community Health Improvement Plan), to help design future programs, and to share what we learn in written reports or articles. These reports or articles may be shared publicly to help others learn from this work (i.e. publication).
