  • Woodstock Film Festival – Year-Round Events Volunteer Form

We are more than just a 5-day fall festival and offer several screenings, fundraisers, networking gatherings, and special events throughout the year.

The Woodstock Film Festival (WFF) is fueled by a passionate community of volunteers who help us bring independent film and meaningful storytelling to life.

While off-season volunteers are unpaid, your contribution is rewarded with unique experiences, industry connections, access to screenings, and opportunities to develop skills in areas like event production, marketing, and media.

Whether you’re a film enthusiast, aspiring journalist, photographer, or just love being part of a creative team, volunteering with WFF is a chance to get hands-on experience and make a difference in our community.

If you have any trouble filling out this form online, please call or email us, and we'll be happy to help.

  • Venue Manager

Thank you for selecting this very important role and we would love to have you! Venue Managers are responsible for tracking seat reserves and making adjustments between film showings. They work directly with venue owners and WFF staff, monitor the film schedule, and communicate the status of all films. They also train volunteers on tasks such as scanning tickets, collecting money, and ushering. At the end of each shift, Venue Managers are responsible for counting cash sales. Additionally, they keep track of face sheets and are aware of high-profile attendees. They oversee communication with both volunteers and festival patrons and are required to attend venue manager training prior to the festival. During the event, Venue Managers work 8 to 9-hour days.
