The International Jump Rope Union ("IJRU") is an international sporting organization committed to promoting, growing, and encouraging the development of Jump Rope/ Rope Skipping Internationally.
Our goal is to provide the best support and environment for our athletes and Jump Rope/ Rope Skipping Community. Jump Rope/ Rope Skipping is an incredible sport shared by members in over 68 countries. It is a powerful tool for exercise, competition and most importantly - bringing people together. The IJRU is an ever-changing and growing organization. Although we've come a long way in the past few years, there is still a lot of work that needs to be done on an ongoing basis to help our organization function and achieve further success. To support the advancement of our athletes, we are looking for interested, qualified candidates that embody the values of the IJRU and share our passion for the power of sport to help lead the development of the organization in the following roles:
- Disciplinary Panel, Member (4-year term)
- Medical Committee, Member (2 or 4-year term)
- Anti-Doping Panel, Member (4-year term)
- Ethics Panel, Member (4-year term)
- Technical Committee, Member (4-year term)
- Technical Congress, Member (4-year term)
Please see the description and the nomination process for these roles below.
Please note that Committee members, except for individuals appointed to the Technical Congress, do not serve on committees as NGB representatives. Instead, they are representing the best interests of all athletes, the sport and IJRU in their role. Many committees only have 4 to 7 members. As a result, there will not be a member from each NGB on all committees.
Applications will be sent to (ethics@jjru.sport). Individuals interested in being considered for one of the roles should complete the attached nomination form and send it, and all required documents via this form. Please contact ethics@ijru.sport if you have questions. We hope that you will consider getting involved in IJRU and submit your application for one of our important committees.
