Mater Christi School and Parish invites you to our upcoming fundraising gala, Rooted in Faith, Guided by Grace, to be held on Saturday, February 28, 2026 from 5:30–9:30 p.m. in the reception hall at St. Sophia Greek Orthodox Church, 440 Whitehall Road, Albany, NY.

This special evening will celebrate over 70 years of faith-filled education and parish life. We will be honoring our volunteers whose time, talent, and dedication sustain the ministries of Mater Christi Parish and School. Their service, often quiet and unseen, forms the foundation of our community and ensures that our students continue to grow academically, spiritually, and morally.

The evening will include a happy hour reception, dinner, silent auction, music and dancing, providing an opportunity for fellowship while supporting the mission of Catholic education in Albany. Proceeds from the gala will directly support student programming, faith formation initiatives, and the continued vitality of Mater Christi School.

Your generosity will help ensure that Mater Christi remains rooted in faith and guided by grace for generations to come. We would be honored to recognize your support and welcome you as a partner in this important mission.

We invite you to support Mater Christi School through one of our Gala Sponsorship opportunities. Sponsorships play a vital role in the success of this event and help fund programs and initiatives that directly benefit our students and school community.

Each sponsorship level includes event recognition and guest admissions as outlined below. We are deeply grateful for your generosity and partnership in supporting Mater Christi School.

Please select the sponsorship level that best fits your level of support.
- Platinum - $6,000 - Recognition in the event program as the Platinum Gala sponsor. Recognition on event signage, on school website, and announced by emcee. Table for 10 at the event.
- Green & Gold - $3,000 - Recognition in the event program as the Green & Gold Gala sponsor. Recognition on event signage, on school website, and announced by emcee. Admission for six guests to the event.
- Teacher & Staff Table - $1,500 - Recognition in the event program as a Teacher & Staff Table sponsor. Recognition on event signage and on school website. Celebrate the heart of Mater Christi School- sponsor a table of teachers and staff to attend the event.
- Patron - $600 - Recognition in the event program and on school website. Admission for four guests to the event.
- Friend of MCS - $300 - Recognition in the event program. Admission for two guests the event.
