    Thank you for your interest in performing at the City of Newcastle’s 2026 Summer Events. Please note that submission or prior performance does not guarantee acceptance. Our Community Activities Commission curates a fresh and varied lineup of stage bands each year, seeking engaging, high-quality performances that will excite and appeal to our community.
    • Deadline: Please submit your application by March 2. The selection process takes place in March.
    • Notification: Most updates and decisions are shared via email, so please provide a valid address that you check regularly.

  • BEFORE YOU SUBMIT

    • Required Paperwork: If chosen, your band’s contact or booking agent will need to complete a contract and provide a W-9 for payment processing.
    • Sound Team: We partner with AT Productions, an experienced sound team that will work with you and your stage plot to ensure a high-quality, professional performance.
    • Stage & Venue: Performances take place on an outdoor 16′ × 32′ canopied stage and continue in most weather conditions, unless rain presents a risk to equipment.
