Quality of Your Home's Trim*

Insurance companies want to know the quality of the finishes of your home. They quantify that on a scale between 1-5, where 1 is lowest and 5 is highest quality. Please give us an accurate number. Homes are generally rated 3. If you have doors, windows, and woodwork or other specialty items that were special ordered for your home, consider a 4.

If your home has the most expensive appointments, such as countertops of imported marble from Italy, faucets custom made by a designer, woodwork that took the most skilled artisan to install, consider a 5. VERY few homes rate 5.

IMPORTANT, PLEASE READ:

We cannot stress enough- show us the details. In the very near future, your law firm will invite you to a "ShareFile" secure online folder where you can upload plans, photos and any other data on the home you want us to know about.

PLEASE upload as much information to that ShareFile folder as you can. You should have already been provided with a link to your own private and secure folder. If not, please request it from your attorney or let us know at matt@bwbuilder.com

What we would like to see?

Photos are integral for our understanding your home and important to the accuracy of the estimate. Please provide us with quality photos by uploading to the ShareFile.

Please upload at least one exterior photo, showing the house from the curb. Next, provide us examples of the living space, kitchen, main bedroom, and main bathroom. The more the better! If you can title the photos, that is also helpful. "Dining Room" vs. "IMG_4098" helps our team know what the photo refers to and complete your estimate more accurately.

Please, also upload any building plans (at minimum a floor plan sketch), videos, and any bids you've had from builders to rebuild the home.

PLEASE give us as much information in that ShareFile folder as you can. it is better that we have more to review than less.
