Wellington Theatre Awards Judging Panel Nomination Form 2027
Nga Whakarakei o Whataitai Wellington Theatre Awards (WTA) was established in 1992 to salute the work and achievements of the passionate and hardworking creatives that year on year continue to produce great theatre in Wellington. We are looking for 3-5 new judges from diverse backgrounds and disciplines to join our current judging panel, supporting the Wellington Theatre Sector. This form is for creatives to submit nominations for individuals to join our wonderful panel of current judges for the 2027 Wellington Theatre Awards. Nominations close before midnight Friday 23rd October 2026.

Note
This is a volunteer position - we are looking for committed and reliable individuals to attend productions across Te Whanganui a Tara and to contribute to the WTA Judging sessions. Tickets to shows and the awards evening will be complimentary and judges will be required to attend an initial meeting in March/April, a midyear catch up and two judging sessions in October/November.
