    The mydentist Excellence Awards are our chance to recognise the outstanding individuals and teams across mydentist who make a real difference every day through the work they do.

    We want to recognise colleagues who not only demonstrate technical excellence, but who also show what it really means to live our values in everything they do.

    Our purpose at mydentist is simple: helping the nation smile and that happens in so many ways whether it’s helping a patient out of pain, boosting their confidence, supporting long‑term oral health or supporting the colleagues who deliver that care.

    Every colleague has the opportunity to be nominated but before you start writing your nomination(s), we encourage you to take a few minutes to watch our video on how to write a winning nomination. It’s packed with guidance to help you craft a strong, meaningful nomination that truly brings your colleague’s achievements to life.

    To be considered, nominations must meet all of the criteria for the relevant category, these are available in full on the Excellence Awards website. Each nomination must also show how your nominee demonstrates one of our People Values. 

    Our People Values

    1. We respect each other
      Show how your nominee supports and respects their colleagues and patients. This could include making a positive impact within the practice, delivering compassionate care, building trust, or helping create an open and honest culture.
    2. We grow together
      Highlight how your nominee invests in their own development or supports the growth of others. This might involve taking on additional training, mentoring colleagues, or helping evolve the way we deliver dentistry.
    3. We achieve as one
      Demonstrate how your nominee works collaboratively to deliver outstanding results. This could include examples of excellent patient care, teamwork, or contributions that have helped others succeed.

    Supporting Evidence
    To strengthen your nomination, please have any supporting documents ready. These may include:

    • Evidence of a recent clinical case (one case per nomination), if relevant
    • Patient testimonials or any additional evidence to support your nomination
