The International Road Federation (IRF) is a leading global provider of capacity building and training services aimed at readying road professionals for the transition to safer, smarter, and more sustainable road networks, and equipping them with the skills required to deploy emerging practices in road design, asset management, and digitalisation.
We are seeking to broaden our pool of trainers and invite expressions of interest from experienced professionals across the road value chain, with a specific focus in the following verticals:
- Delivering Safer Roads: Strengthening the ability of road agencies to analyse safety performance, manage risk, and design infrastructure that prevents serious crashes.
- Designing & Managing Sustainable Road Assets: Building resilient, eco-efficient road networks through sustainable pavement design and modern asset management systems.
- Traffic Engineering & Intelligent Transportation Systems: Optimising the performance of road networks through modern traffic engineering, forecasting, demand management and smart mobility technologies.
- Digitisation & Automation: Leveraging AI and digital transformation for improved efficiency, and enhancing CCAM readiness within road agencies.
- Road Project Management: Equipping professionals with the skills, tools, and governance frameworks to deliver complex road projects on time, on budget, and to specification.
- Policy and Leadership in Transport: Targeting strategic policy development, cross-sector collaboration, and leadership for systemic change.
We are particularly looking for individuals who can demonstrate:
- Expertise and a proven record in their subject area
- Strong abilities in training design, organisation, and delivery
- Skill in facilitating and managing group dynamics
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Effective time management and reliability
