Event Day Volunteer: Supports HBANWI by helping at various events throughout the year. Volunteers assist with setup, registration, guest services, and other on-site needs, ensuring events run smoothly and successfully. Open to anyone looking to get involved and make an immediate impact.
Finance Committee: Supports the Treasurer by overseeing financial operations, budgeting, and financial reporting, helping ensure long-term sustainability and continued investment in education initiatives.
Gala Committee: Leads planning for HBANWI’s annual Gala, celebrating builder achievements while raising critical funds for Habitat for Humanity of Northwest Indiana and Habitat for Humanity of Porter County through a silent auction and appeal.
Golf Outing Committee: Plans and executes the annual HBANWI Golf Outing held each June, a signature networking and fundraising event for members and sponsors.
Governmental Affairs/Economic Outlook Breakfast Committee: Focuses on advocacy and industry awareness, including the Economic Outlook Breakfast in partnership with the Lake County Economic Alliance—bringing together regional leaders for policy discussions, economic insights, and high-level networking.
Home Building & Remodeling Expo Committee: A large-scale consumer trade show at the Porter County Expo Center connecting thousands of attendees with trusted local builders, remodelers, and home improvement experts—featuring a VIP Night, Kid Zone, educational seminars, and major giveaways.
Marketing Committee: Partners with the Executive Officer to stay current on marketing trends, engage members and the community, and provide hands-on coverage for all special events, monthly networking and other key gatherings.
Membership Committee: Drives HBANWI’s membership growth through annual campaigns, member testimonials, and engagement initiatives. Ensures monthly networking nights and quarterly new member welcome breakfasts, serving as a champion and conduit for our organization.
Parade of Homes Fall 2026: A 10-day, single-site showcase in the Stonebridge Subdivision featuring exceptional homes from 7 of Northwest Indiana’s most elite builders.
Parade of Homes Spring 2026: A spring showcase highlighting top new homes built by passionate local builders across Lake and Porter counties, offering the public a firsthand look at design trends and craftsmanship.
