2026 Pinewood Lake Evacuation Drill Sign up

Larimer County’s Office of Emergency Management partners with one community each year for an annual evacuation drill. This year, Pinewood Lake Reservoir Residents are invited to participate in this year's drill

The drill is a chance to practice key steps: assembling your household’s Go-Kits (including supplies for pets), loading your vehicle, and simulating an evacuation, without bringing your animals. Instead, rehearse loading them at home to ensure you have enough space, a proper crate, and an understanding of how easy or difficult it might be to wrangle your pet.

During the drill, you’ll practice receiving alerts, packing your car, and driving to LFRA Training Sites

This years drill will take place May 30th, 2026 from 10 AM - 2PM

Assumption of Risk & Release of Liability

1. I acknowledge, understand, and agree that I have voluntarily chosen to participate in the Larimer County Annual Evacuation Drill and all associated activities.
2. I acknowledge, understand, and agree that I am not working in a paid position and will receive no compensation for participating in the Larimer County Annual Evacuation Drill.
3. I acknowledge, understand, and agree that neither I nor my assignees, heirs, distributees, guardians, or legal representatives will make any claims against, sue, or otherwise hold liable the Larimer County Office of Emergency Management, the Glacier View Volunteer Fire District, or the entities controlling the Livermore Community Center.
4. I hereby release and forever discharge the Larimer County Office of Emergency Management and its project partners from all actions, claims, and demands that I, my assignees, heirs, distributees, guardians, and legal representatives now have or may hereafter have for injury or damage resulting from my participation in the Larimer County Annual Evacuation Drill and its activities, including any injury or damage that may occur during my transportation to and from the Livermore Community Hall or any other location required for participating in the Larimer County Annual Evacuation Drill and related activities.
5. My participation in the Larimer County Annual Evacuation Drill is wholly voluntary, and I have made the decision to volunteer, understanding the inherent risks of participation, including the risk of injury and the potential unavailability of medical facilities.  I accept all risks of my participation, including the risk of injury and death.
6. In the event of a claim against Larimer County related to my participation in the Larimer County Annual Evacuation Drill, including all associated activities, I agree to indemnify and hold harmless Larimer County, including the Larimer County Office of Emergency Management, the Glacier View Volunteer Fire District, and the entities controlling the Livermore Community Center, from any and all expenses and liabilities. This indemnity covers all reasonable expenses incurred, including, but not limited to, attorney fees.

 

Photo Release
I hereby grant the Larimer County Office of Emergency Management and its partnering agencies, including their legal representatives, successors, and assigns, irrevocable permission to capture, copyright, and utilize photographic portraits, pictures, or similar images of me and my children (collectively, the "Pictures").  This permission extends to the use, publication, and republishing of these Pictures, either wholly or partially, whether altered using software or not, through any medium and in any media now or hereafter known.  These images may be used for illustration, promotion, art, editorial purposes, or any other purpose, including but not limited to noncommercial advertising, periodicals, trade show exhibits, and other promotional applications.
I agree to hold harmless Larimer County and its partnering agencies, along with their representatives, successors, and assigns, from any liability arising from or in connection with the use of the aforementioned Pictures.

Affirmation & Signature

I affirm that I am 18 years of age or older and that I am competent to sign this agreement on my own behalf. I acknowledge that I have read the foregoing authorization and release and that I fully understand its contents.

For Participants Under 18 Years of Age

I, the undersigned, am the parent or legal guardian of the Participant named on page 1 of this form, and I consent to their Participant's participation in the project listed on page 1 of this form.
