Eligibility Requirements for PVAMU College Students
1. Current Prairie View A&M University student from Tarrant or adjacent counties (see list above).
2. Applicants must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.8 on a 4.0 grade scale.
3. Plan to register as a full-time undergraduate student for the Fall 2026 and Spring 2027 semesters in a minimum of 12 credit hours per semester.
4. Applicants must demonstrate involvement in school, community service, extra-curricular, and/or other activities
5. Applicant must provide the following items to the Scholarship Committee:
- Completed application (this form)
- Copy of PVAMU transcript (transcript must show cumulative GPA for Fall 2025)
- Two (2) letters of recommendation: one from a PVAMU professor AND one from a non-family member of the community or other PVAMU staff
- Verification of Enrollment Form completed and signed by the Office of Enrollment
- Completed Essay or Video (Prompt provided below)
(NOTE** Recipient must provide proof of enrollment and evidence of full-time registration at PVAMU before scholarship funds are disbursed to recipients. APPLICATION MUST BE COMPLETE BEFORE SUBMISSION. No incomplete applications will be considered.**)

  Planning for the future can sometimes be a daunting task for some young adults. However, having a sense of direction and purpose can make the important planning stages in life easier.
