Our annual Diesel 500 Race is Saturday, January 17, 2026 sponsored by Star City 12Volt with 94.9 Star Country!

*DUE TO LAST YEAR'S IMPRESSIVE PARTICIPATION, REGISTRATION IN ADVANCE IS REQUIRED AND MAY BE LIMITED IF WE REACH OUT MAXIMUM CAPACITY. PARTICIPANTS WHO HAVE NOT REGISTERED IN ADVANCE WILL NOT BE GUARANTEED PARTICIPATION.*
- One racer permitted on the ice per car; this is due to limited space. If your child is participating, you will be able to wait for them just off the ice at ice level.
- Cars may be stored at Guest Services by Gate 8 during the game if there is not space by your seats
- Racers are required to purchase their tickets on their own and may sit in any section
- Racers will meet outside Gate 8 with five minutes remaining in the first period. Racers will then be escorted to ice level by our staff.
- Parking is not included and costs $10.00 while spaces remain. Parking will likely sell out in advance for this event. Buy parking online or at the box office.

Participants will be required to walk on the ice and step up in the benches during the race. There are risks associated with traversing on ice; please not running or horseplay. This race may cause damage to your RC car. By signing below, you acknowledge that the Rail Yard Dawgs and Berglund Center will not be held liable for damages to cars nor any injuries associated with the race. Please inform children in your care of these risks prior to participation.*
