We Won't Back Down - MCAN Event

On Sunday, February 1, 2026 from 12:00- 2:30 pm, CAIR-LA will be hosting the 2026 MCAN Kickoff Delegates Assembly. This convening will bring together masjid leaders and community delegations from across Southern California for a strategic discussion on the upcoming midterm election cycle. During this meeting, we will lay out an analysis of the political landscape and identify strategic opportunities to build collective Muslim political power through coordinated advocacy, community organizing, and voter engagement. Together, we will explore how masjids can align their efforts locally and regionally to advance shared priorities, mobilize their communities, and translate participation into lasting political influence.
