Leadership Northeast Core Class of 2027 Reference Form

You have been asked to complete a reference form for a candidate for the Leadership Northeast Core Program, a program designed for individuals interested in leadership development and service to the community.

Leadership Northeast offers selected participants an opportunity to acquire the personal and professional skills and the community knowledge necessary for the exercise of effective volunteer leadership. The nine-month course of study, which begins in September 2026, has been designed to teach leadership skills and explore the major components of community life: the legal system, human services, the environment, the economy, local government, workforce development, diversity, the media, and board membership. Experienced community leaders and professionals participate in each seminar.

Participants for the program will be selected based on their completed application and reference forms, which must be returned by April 15, 2026. Preference will be given to candidates who, in addition to their potential for leadership, will contribute to the overall diversity and strength of the class.
