2026 Women's Rock N Roll Retreat Staff Application

She Rock She Rock is excited that you'd like to apply as a contracted staff member for our Women's Rock N Roll Retreat (WRRR) camp program!

We have two positions:
- Music Coach (full job description here)
  - Teaches instrument class and coaches a camper band
  - Attends all hours of camp (~35-40 hrs)
- Instrument Coach (full job description here)
  - Teaches instrument classes only
  - Attends limited hours of camp the mornings of 4/10 and 4/11 (~8-12 hrs)

Camp Availability

Camp takes place Friday, April 10 (9am-7:30pm), Saturday, April 11 (9:30am-7:30pm), and Sunday, April 12 (9:30am-7:30pm) with a pre-camp orientation on Sunday, March 29 (2:00-6:00pm). Mandatory hours for each position are listed in the linked positions descriptions above. Optional roadie shifts are available on April 9 and 12 (see job descriptions). Roadie shifts involve lifting, setting up/tearing down and hauling equipment. These shifts are paid at the regular hourly rate.

Experience
Due to budget constraints, we will need to hire fewer Music Coaches than in the past. We are giving higher priority to applicants who have the ability to coach basic skills on multiple instruments, in addition to being proficient on a main instrument. Of the Music Coaches we hire, some will be paired with other coaches during band rehearsals, and some will be the only coach for their band.
