  • Italian American Cultural Club Scholarship Application Form

    We are now accepting applications for our 2026 Scholarship Program. Please complete all forms and submit all necessary documentation either through the form or via e-mail (instructions provided below) no mater than March 15, 2026.
  • Basic Guidelines for our Scholarship Program

    • Individuals applying for the Italian American Cultural Club Scholarship must either be a High School Senior or considered a College Freshman at the time of application and attend an accredited institution (University, College, or Trade School) in the Fall of 2026. 
    • Individuals applying for the Italian American Cultural Club Scholarship must attain a minimum of fifteen (15) points to be considered for the scholarship. 
    • This online application and all required documentation are due no later than March 15, 2026. If you do not have the documentation to submit with this form, you are responsible for submitting it later via email. WE DO NOT REQUEST INFORMATION - YOU MUST TAKE IT UPON YOURSELF TO EITHER SUBMIT THE DOCUMENTATION VIA THIS FORM OR E-MAIL BY THE DEADLINE. NO EXCEPTIONS. 
    • Recipients will be announced in March, and the Scholarship Presentation will take place on Monday, June 8, 2026. 
    • A letter of enrollment (not acceptance) or other proof that you are deposited into an Accredited Institution must be submitted prior to the monies being disbursed to you. The deadline to submit this documentation to the IACC is July 15, 2026.

    • SECTION ONE: Campo Italiano Volunteer Hours (Click to Expand & Complete) 
    • Section 1: Campo Italiano Volunteer Hours

      The Italian American Cultural Club awards three points per hour that is volunteered at Campo Italiano. The hours that you submit as a part of your Campo Italiano section will be verified for you by the Italian American Cultural Club. You DO NOT have to contact the Campo Italiano Program in order to receive documentation to submit for this application. 
    • SECTION TWO: Italian American Cultural Club Volunteer Hours (Click to Expand & Complete) 
    • Section 2: Italian American Cultural Club Volunteer Hours

      The Italian American Cultural Club awards three points per volunteer hour for all hours spent in support of both the Italian American Cultural Club AND the Upper Ohio Valley Italian Heritage Festival in Wheeling, West Virginia. DO NOT ENTER ANY CAMPO ITALIANO HOURS IN THIS SECTION - YOU CANNOT USE THESE HOURS TWICE. These hours must be documented in some manner and must be submitted below. In the event that you cannot obtain documentation for these hours, please contact Frankie DiCarlantonio, IACC President at frankie@iaccsteubenville.org.

    • SECTION THREE: Other Italian Organization Volunteer Hours (Click to Expand & Complete) 
    • Section 3: Other Italian Organization Volunteer Hours

      The Italian American Cultural Club awards one point per volunteer hour spent on other Italian/ Italian-American Activities that are spent in service to another Non-Profit Organization other than the Italian American Cultural Club and/or the Upper Ohio Valley Italian Heritage Festival. Documentation must be submitted for these activities. DO NOT SUBMIT HOURS IN SERVICE TO THE ITALIAN AMERICAN CULTURAL CLUB AND/OR THE UPPER OHIO VALLEY ITALIAN HERITAGE FESTIVAL HERE.

    • SECTION FOUR: Community Service Volunteer Hours (Click to Expand & Complete) 
    • Section 4: Community Service Hours

      The Italian American Cultural Club awards 0.25 points per hour spent in service to the Community, your school, or your church. Hours must be documented via a signed letter and/or community service logs and submitted in order to receive credit for these hours. Hours that are not matched with documentation will not be awarded. Service MUST be completed for a Non-Profit Organization, your church, or school. You may not claim hours for being an Altar Server at mass, babysitting for individuals, or service that takes place in your own home.

  • Biography

    In the event that you are a recipient of the Italian American Cultural Club Scholarship, this is the biography that will be used in our program book along with the photo that you uploaded. This should be no more than 150 words. Please refer to the example below regarding an example of what is expected.
  • EXAMPLE: 

    [Name] is a proud member of the graduating class of 2026 at [High School Name]. During their high school years, [Name] distinguished themselves both academically and through active involvement in extracurricular activities. They maintained an impressive [GPA], which earned them a place on the honor roll each year and recognition from various academic societies, such as [National Honor Society or other relevant groups].

    Beyond academics, [Name] was an active participant in [clubs, sports teams, volunteer programs, or other activities], serving as [leadership role, if applicable] and contributing to [mention notable achievements, such as leading a team to a championship or organizing community events]. Their dedication to [mention specific passion, such as music, STEM, sports, or volunteering] showcased their commitment to growth and excellence.

    This fall, [Name] will be attending [College/University Name], where they plan to pursue a degree in [intended major], with hopes of [mention future aspirations]. [Name] looks forward to bringing the same enthusiasm and hard work to their college career that defined their high school journey.

  • Submission Information

  • Please read this information in its entirety. Failure to follow the steps below may affect your eligibility for a scholarship from the Italian American Cultural Club. 

    • If you did not submit your complete, signed verifications for some or all of your hours, they MUST be submitted by March 15, 2026, to Frankie DiCarlantonio, IACC President, at frankie@iaccsteubenville.org. The Italian American Cultural Club will not reach out to you or attempt to verify any Service Hours other than those that are submitted under the Campo Italiano Section. 
    • If you have additional information to provide after submitting this form, please contact Frankie DiCarlantonio, IACC President, at frankie@iaccsteubenville.org. Your original submission can be deleted, and you may submit a new one. This may only happen one time. 
    • You will be notified if you have received the scholarship approximately towards the end of March 2026. You will be notified via e-mail. Once you receive that e-mail, you will need to follow the steps in that e-mail to receive your scholarship funds successfully. 
    • We strongly encourage you to attend the Italian American Cultural Club Scholarship Presentation on Monday, June 8, 2026. 
    • To receive your funds, you must submit a Letter of Enrollment (not acceptance) from an accredited institution. Once these obligations are met, you will receive a check payable to the student for use toward any educational purpose. The deadline to submit this information is July 15, 2026.
    • If you are attending Franciscan University of Steubenville, the Italian American Cultural Club has a matching program with the University that will match the student's scholarship amount. Please contact Frankie DiCarlantonio, IACC President, if you are interested in participating after you are notified that you have been awarded the scholarship.
