  • What Volunteers Do

    During camp, volunteers also known as Junior Instructors will be paired up with an experienced instructor to provide leadership, motivation, encouragement, and comfort to the kids under our care at camp. Juniors will ride with the classes, and participate in games, activities, and drills.

    Junior Instructors are asked to bring their own bike, be comfortable riding for up to an hour (including on hills), and confidently follow the rules of the road, including shoulder checks and hand signals.

    Volunteers are expected to commit Tuesday - Friday for a full week of camp, meaning you get to see the same kids everyday - and they get to know you!

  • Helpful Reminders

    - Not all camps will run every week.

    Select all your preffered options and we will reachout to you for an alternative if non selected are available.

    - You are volunteering to work Tuesday to Friday based on the camp weeks you pick below.

    If you can't make one of the days or your schedule changes, thats fine! Just let the manager at camp know when you get there. 

    Or if you need to change/cancel a week, just let us know via email with two weeks notice. - HR@pedalheads.com

    Applications will close on July 10. 

    1. Expect a confirmation email including your confirmed Shift, Week & Location within 3 weeks of your Application.

    2. Online training will be provided via a comprehensive slide deck (sent by email) on May 30. Important infomation on what you will need to bring, how you can help around camp and the Pedalheads method. 

    3. Reminders of your schedule and camp location will be sent out in the week leading up to your assigned shift.
