  • Thank you for applying to instruct at the Center for Death Education. We are a nonprofit, 501(c)(3) organization. As such, instructors are compensated for their classes as independent contractors. Comprehensive payment information will be provided upon selection. Minimum instructor qualifications are one of the following:

    • Graduate or Professional degree from an accredited institution related to thanatology (thanatology, psychology, sociology, medicine, gerontology, counseling, nursing, spirituality, ethics, social work, grief counseling, etc.).
    • Professional or Occupational certification and at least 2 years of verifiable teaching experience.

    All proposed classes/courses will be carefully reviewed and selected by the Center for Death Education. Applicants whose classes are chosen will be contacted directly with the next steps.

  • How many sessions do you envision for this course? Each class is 1.5 hours long and includes dedicated time for discussion. At this time, we are currently limiting classes to no more than 2 sessions.*
