Thank you for applying to instruct at the Center for Death Education. We are a nonprofit, 501(c)(3) organization. As such, instructors are compensated for their classes as independent contractors. Comprehensive payment information will be provided upon selection. Minimum instructor qualifications are one of the following:
- Graduate or Professional degree from an accredited institution related to thanatology (thanatology, psychology, sociology, medicine, gerontology, counseling, nursing, spirituality, ethics, social work, grief counseling, etc.).
- Professional or Occupational certification and at least 2 years of verifiable teaching experience.
All proposed classes/courses will be carefully reviewed and selected by the Center for Death Education. Applicants whose classes are chosen will be contacted directly with the next steps.
