This summer, we're doing things a little differently, assigning two reads and a show, all building toward one discussion together in September.

Our Key Theme: Occupation Diaries, threads of narrative across Palestine, Kashmir, and Northern Ireland.
1. Sharon and My Mother in Law by Suad Amiry, a hilarious yet poignant memoir about life in the occupied West Bank.
2. Azadi by Arundhati Roy, a searing look into Kashmir.
3. Derry Girls, Season 1, the iconic comedy following a group of high schoolers in Northern Ireland during the Troubles.
