ENC County Feeding and Helping Families Coalition – Committees
1. Finance Committee
Leads all fundraising efforts and identifies resources to support coalition programs. This committee develops the annual budget, seeks funding opportunities, and ensures responsible and transparent financial stewardship.
2. Unmet Needs Committee
Provides direct assistance to families facing urgent challenges. Support may include help with rent, light bills, food, hygiene items, household furniture, and other essential needs.
3. Volunteer Committee
Bring together individuals, churches, and community groups to serve families in need. This committee organizes volunteers for packing food boxes, moving families into housing, delivering food, and supporting coalition activities.
4. Food Committee
Coordinates the collection and distribution of food across the counties. This committee partners with churches, nonprofits, DSS, and local food pantries to gather donations and ensure families receive the support they need.
5. Health Care Committee
Provides free health screenings and wellness support for the community and local churches. This committee connects residents with preventive care resources and health education.
6. Mental Health Committee
Supports individuals and families who need mental health services. This committee works to connect people with counseling, support programs, and community resources that promote emotional well‑being.
7. Disaster Recovery Committee
Responds during times of crisis by providing essential supplies and support. This committee helps families recover from emergencies and coordinates relief efforts with community partners.
