MLK Day of Service Volunteer Registration

Register to volunteer for our "Hands in the Soil, Hearts in the Community" project at Second Christian Church, 4801 Edison St., Houston, TX 77009. Help us beautify and refresh the church grounds in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

Event Details: Hands in the Soil, Hearts in the Community: MLK Day of Service.
Date & Time: January 19, 2025, 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM.
Location: Second Christian Church, 4801 Edison St, Houston, TX 77009. Located directly across from the MD Anderson Family YMCA.
Activities include: refreshing and re-directing flower beds, planting seasonal flowers, trimming shrubs, removing weeds, and cleaning up the building perimeter.

Please plan to park at the MD Anderson Family YMCA parking lot located at 705 Cavalcade St., Houston, TX 77009, and walk across the street to the event area. If the YMCA lot reaches capacity, parking will also be available in the Second Christian Church parking lots. Please be courteous and do not block any driveway entrances.
