Zeta Light Foundation Scholarship Application

Welcome to the Zeta Light Scholarship Foundation Application Portal
The Zeta Light Scholarship Foundation, in partnership with the Beta Delta Zeta Chapter of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated, is pleased to announce that we are now accepting applications for the following scholarships:

Beta Delta Zeta Scholarship - For High School Seniors attending a Philadelphia public, private, parochial or charter school: $1,000 - $1,500

Beyond the Spectrum Achievement Scholarship - For High School Seniors attending a Philadelphia public, private, parochial or charter school on the Autism spectrum: $750 - $1,250

Zeta Legacy of Service Scholarship - For High School Seniors with demonstrated exemplary service to the community and are the children/grandchildren of currrent Beta Delta Zeta Chapter members: $1,000 - $1,500

Arizona Cleaver Stemons Scholarship - For Zeta undergraduate members of chapters sponsored by Beta Delta Zeta: $750 - $1,250

Barbara Bradley Younge Continuing Education Award - For previous Beta Delta Zeta scholarship recipients majoring in English or Journalism: $500 - $1,000

Carrie B. McGhee Continuing Education Award - For previous Beta Delta Zeta scholarship recipients: $500 - $1,000

Application Requirements:
- At least a 3.0 cumulative grade point average
- Matriculating college student Fall 2026 at a 2-yr or 4-yr Institution
- High School or College transcript
- Personal Narrative - download the directions below
- Recommendation Letter
- Resume - download a template below
The complete application package must be received by midnight on February 28, 2026. All questions must be answered to be considered complete.

Finalist will be notified no later than May 1, 2026.
