  • VENDOR INFORMATION

Vendors are required to bring their own tents (canopy), tent weights, tables and chairs. Appropriate tent weights and/or stakes are required to keep your set-up secure. Vendors will be located outdoors in Fircrest Park. (The only exception is the Holiday Market in December)

Set-up time varies according to the event. Please see listing above. Specific details will be sent once you are an approved vendor.

Vendors are required to be open for business for the duration of the event. Please do not start tearing down prior to the end of the event. This not only inhibits your chance for that last minute sale, but it is also disruptive to customers that are still shopping and the vendors around you.

Prepared Food Vendors must possess and maintain all required state, county and local licenses and permits.

Please plan for alternative ways to process payments, such as using your data and having cash on hand. There is WiFi available, but it can get bogged down when a lot of people are connected to it. Commonly used card processors include SpotOn, Square and Paypal, Venmo or Cashapp.

REFUNDS for vendor fees will NOT be given to any vendor who is not able to attend an event after submitting payment for their approved booth.

Fircrest events will happen RAIN, SHINE or SNOW.

Additional details will be sent to you once we approve your application.

    Required Permits and Licenses:

    a.    Food Vendors must have a Washington State business license, or UBI # (Unified Business Identifier) to sell. Food vendor's applications will not be processed without a UBI number. Vendors must keep a copy of business license on site. They must also have a Tacoma Pierce County Health Department Operating License and Food Handlers’ permit on site.

By signing below I understand the above statements regarding set up, tear down and the market happening rain or shine. Also that the City of Fircrest Parks and Recreation is not responsible for loss or damage of property. All vendors, or vendor representatives, are responsible for any damage they may cause to the grounds, its representatives, other vendors, or customers, and are expected to work to resolve any damage claims either personally, or by providing applicable insurance information in a timely, responsible manner.
