DR. SHIRLEY SHARPE-TERRELL GEMS SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION FORM ($1,000)

The Dr.Shirley Sharpe-Terrell Delta GEMS Scholarship was established to honor her lifelong commitment to education, faith, and community service. This scholarship recognizes an active GEMS program participant who demonstrates servant leadership and a dedication to uplifting their communities.

Eligibility Requirements:
- Orange/Osceola County high school senior currently participating in OCAC's Delta GEMS program
- Campus/community involvement
- Attendance at Delta GEMS activities
- Letter of recommendation from community service advisor
- Verification form from GEMS chair or co-chair
- Essay Topic: "How has Delta GEMS impacted you personally and academically, and what specific skills, insights, or knowledge have you gained that you will leverage during your post-secondary education journey?"
Scholarship applications and supporting documentation must be received by March 15, 2026 by 11:59 p.m. EST.
