Awesome Animal Portraiture: Learning How to Draw and Paint Animals

Dates: Thursdays from 3:00-5:30pm

February 26th | March 12th, 26th | May 14th, 28th

Students will learn how to create unique and beautiful pictures of animals. Participants of this class will also learn about the principles of art such as color and balance in order to create their art pieces using acrylic paint. Students will learn techniques including laying and shading in order to learn the steps to creating expressive and exciting animal portraits that can be made either as fun and friendly portraits or as masterpieces that can be put into a gallery.  Students will learn about color theory and the relationship that it has with other principles and elements of art.

Fee: $45.00 PER CLASS
all supplies are included in the fee

Learning How to Paint with Acrylic Paint: Beginner’s Painting Series

Thursdays, March 12th, 26th, April 16th, 30th, May 7th from 3:30-5:00pm

In this beginner friendly class, students will learn the basics and fundamentals about acrylic painting as well as elements and principles of art, and how to use them to create vivid, colorful, and expressive acrylic paintings. Students will learn about both basic and complex painting techniques as well as how to use materials needed to paint acrylic paintings.

In this class you will be learning about:
*The basic fundamentals of acrylic painting (including how to use acrylic paint materials)
*Color theory, mixing colors, primary and secondary colors
*The relationship between colors, shapes, and storytelling
*Different styles of painting (realism, surrealism, abstract)

Fee: $135.00 for all 5 classes and supplies.
